wHANGANUI’S Leading
NETBALL CLUB
We’re proud to have a long and rich history. Kaierau Netball Club was formed in 1978, after a group of woman gathered with the intention to form a netball club adjunct in 1977. The club progressively swelled and in 1983 the club began playing premier grade for the first time, shortly after fielding 2 teams in premier grade.
The A team played outstanding netball which enabled the club to win the Premier Grade championship three years in a row, along with the Smith Trophy in 1988 for excellence and sportsmanship.
Passionate about
our Members
Since then our success and growth as a club has continued. We’re passionate about netball and our members. Whether you’re looking for some fun on a Saturday, to develop your game in one of our premier teams or give your time coaching or managing a team, we’ll support you along the way.
We are proud to have the ongoing support of our local community, from our supporters, our sponsors and also patrons at the Kaierau Country Club, who we are proudly affiliated with through Kaierau Rugby.
